My name is Dana Bond and I am the Project Manager for an up and coming pop group called The Beat Geeks. I have been involved with merchandising and tour management and promotions for approximately 10 years and music synch and licensing for the past three years. I currently review all music synchronization and licensing agreements for the group. I also handle their booking, promos, and sponsorships. I have helped the group obtain over 30 placements on television shows such as MTV's Jersey Shore, E's Keeping up with the Kardashian, and TNT's Men of a Certain Age, just to name a few. I am currently working with the group as we meet with music supervisors that are over movie trailers and film.I am interested in learning more about publishing, music supervising, music licensing, and artist management. I hope to be able to share information that I have and will obtain regarding helping artists and managers obtain placements in television and film. Pitching, music synch and licensing contracts, metadata, follow-up, rapport, and the importance of being a "one stop" shop, will be discussed in my blog.
